Google GMail accounts for Student Organizations

All registered student organizations with approved status will be automatically provisioned an email accounts through the Google GMail service. This does NOT impact student organization Mailman lists from ITC.

Please follow these steps to access your email:

  1. Go to http://www.gmail.student.virginia.edu to sign in.
  2. The first time the account is accessed, you will be asked to input a special string of letters displayed on the screen (for security verification purposes) and to agree to the Terms of Service for using Google GMail.




  3. If you wish to use Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, some other desktop client for accessing your account, please read the Google Help Center for detailed setup instructions.
